Two Loren Hotels Designed by Rhode Partners Win Hospitality Design Awards
May 31, 2024
Rhode Partners is thrilled to share that The Loren at Lady Bird Lake and The Loren at Turtle Cove have received international architectural recognition from the LIV Hospitality Design Awards. As avid travelers ourselves, we aim to design hospitality spaces with a deep sense of storytelling and place.
Drawing inspiration from the beloved Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail in which it’s nestled, The Loren at Lady Bird Lake in Austin is a mixed-use project featuring a program of hotel rooms and residences with a decidedly treehouse feel. This is the first urban hotel in The Loren’s collection of boutique properties after the clients looked to expand upon the hospitality brand's first tropical resort property in Bermuda. They found in Austin a city in rapid development and a prime site along the shores of Lady Bird Lake. The project invites discerning visitors and locals to experience an understated luxury rooted in and curated by Austin's casual culture and the site's energetic and verdant beauty.
While The Loren at Lady Bird Lake was wrapping up construction, we worked with the clients of the Loren Hotels Brand, Sardis Developments, to design The Loren at Turtle Cove, a project in Providenciales, an island in the Turks & Caicos archipelago. The project provides modern living and luxury amenities for year-round, high-end travelers and will feature an open-air restaurant, hotel rooms, residences, and private villas along the shores of Turtle Cove.
Both projects have been steadily featured in the press with glowing reviews from the likes of Forbes, Hospitality Design, Travel & Leisure, and others.
