The Catherine is a luxury multifamily development located between South 1st Street and South Congress Avenue along the south shore of Lady Bird Lake. The unusual shape of the site posed a major design challenge for parking but afforded the tower a more organic form that allows for exceptional city views. Access to the lake and surrounding parkland along with a slightly quieter location just outside of downtown have made The Catherine a highly desirable place to call home. At the time of its completion in 2016, The Catherine’s units had the highest grossing value of any luxury high rise apartment in the downtown Austin area.
