The Independent featured on impossible engineering

Rhode Partners’ Independent was featured in Season Eight of Science Channel’s Impossible Engineering, which explores modern architectural and engineering projects and the history behind the techniques that make them possible. In “Texas Super Skyscraper,” Impossible Engineering explores The Independent’s structural core, unique cantilevered floors, and the damper tank at the crown of the building.

With interviews from Director Brett Rhode and our friends Kris Swanson and Shane Tanner at DCI Engineers, the 42 minute program includes video from inside the project, and an exclusive view from the very top of the Independent – a view very few people have seen. Learn more about the episode here.
