This project draws inspiration from the beloved Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail in which it’s nestled.

A reflective, textured copper ceiling with a hammered pattern echoes the water and movement of Lady Bird Lake visible across the street.

The motorcourt leads guests through the open air paseo and features a custom tensile structure canopy.

The hotel rooms feature bespoke white oak millwork and a blackened steel refreshment bar.

Large corrugated bronze panels on the exterior are in various stages of natural patina—the color of which evolves through the day’s light and particularly glistens in golden hour, greeting visitors on their commutes in and out of Downtown Austin.

Custom millwork, shou sugi ban paneling, and rich textiles define The Loren at Lady Bird Lake’s restaurant and bar spaces.
